About Us
Hello everyone, I’m Megan Brady! Some may know me as Mrs. Brady, 3rd grade teacher at ELH, some may know me as stay home mom to 3 girls and some may know me as Ms. Megan, elementary school tutor with Miss Lauren’s Learners, but I am excited to take on my new role here at Kids Can Be Kids. It has always been a dream of mine to run an indoor playground because as a mom I frequent them often! With the support of my husband Patrick, we plan to expand Dana and Donato’s legacy without changing its overall purpose to create a safe, clean and friendly environment for moms, dads and their littles to make memories and learn along the way!
We are so excited to be opening Amelia Island’s first indoor kids playground! Donato and myself moved from San Diego in June 2024. After owning a successful personal training gym and wellness center for 23 years it was time to make some changes. We came to Fernandina to visit a friend and fell in love. On our several visits we noticed there wasn’t much to do indoors for little ones. We have a 13 year old son but I remember the younger years always looking for things for him to do. This sparked the idea of Kids Can Be Kids, indoor playground. After lots of research and listening to our hearts we decided to go full steam ahead. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean and friendly environment where kids can play without worry and parents can take a moment to breathe! We are looking forward to creating memories for the kiddos!
